The municipality has initiated the procurement process for e-ticketing equipment and testing services. Bids can be submitted until March 5, IPN reports.
The procurement procedure involves an open local tender. The deadline for requesting clarifications is February 12, at 10:00.
According to Chisinau City Hall, the awarding criterion will be the price.
The e-ticketing system includes innovative functionalities for public transport fare payment, eliminating the need for physical tickets. The system's pilot phase is set to begin on trolleybus route number 30, which connects the city center to the airport. Gradually, the system is expected to be expanded and adapted citywide.
