A girl aged ten was hit by a car when she was crossing the street illegally. It happened on Cuza-Vodă St in Chisinau on Thursday morning, at about 8am, Natalia Stati, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Division, has told IPN.
The driver who struck the girl by his car is aged 46.
The girl was rushed to the Children’s Hospital “Valentin Ignatencoˮ by an ambulance. “The child was brought with a right shoulder contusion. As the state of health was stable, the child was discharged,” said Veronica Istrati, spokeswoman for the hospital.
An investigation is under way.
