Ten new trolleybuses were put on routes in the municipality of Chisinau on April 2. The classical trolleybuses AKSM were made at a factory in Minsk and were assembled at the depot of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company, IPN reports.
According to the Chisinau City Hall, the new trolleybuses have air conditioning and video surveillance systems and USB sockets for charging electronic devices intended for commuters, LED lighting and power side-view mirrors and low floor with retractable steps for wheelchair users.
During the first three months of this year, five articulated trolleybuses made in Belarus, ten classical AKSM trolleybuses, five used articulated trolleybuses Solaris bought from Riga and ten used classical trolleybuses Skoda started to be used on the streets of Chisinau.
