Another ten new ISUZU buses started to run on routes in the suburban settlements of the municipality of Chisinau, IPN reports.
The buses will travel to Revaca, Dobrogea, Durlești and other localities. Five more new buses will be introduced later this week, while another six buses are being tested.
Mayor general Ion Ceban said that there will be long routes that will connect Buiucani with Botanica and Ciocana with Telecentru so as to prevent traffic congestion. These corridors will be on a trial regime until the end of this year.
The mayor noted that surveillance cameras will be installed in a bid to prevent the vandalizing of bus and trolleybus stations on the municipality.
By the end of 2021, all the 100 new buses purchased by the municipality are to be put on routes.
