Ten families of refugees and beneficiaries of temporary protection in Moldova will be distributed houses by the end of this year. The houses will be built within the Local Integration of Refugees in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Project, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Moldova. Over €75,000 lei will be allocated for reconstructing the former public bathroom in Mereni village of Anenii Noi district and a former kindergarten in Rezeni, Ialoveni. The refugees will be able to find employment in the given villages, while their children will go to the local schools and kindergarten. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees' Representative Office in Moldova recently signed cooperation agreements with the local councils of Mereni and Rezeni. The project is financed by the European Union and co-financed and implemented by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Moldova.
