The current temperatures are unseasonably low, but starting next week, the weather in Moldova will steadily warm up, IPN learned from the State Weather Service.
“Lately we have had some cold spells influenced by air masses of arctic origin, hence the lower than average temperatures”, says Gennady Rosca, department head at the Service.
But as the cold air masses are replaced by warmer winds coming from the south, temperatures will gradually rise and even exceed average values.
Over the next three days, the weather will stay chill, with temperatures slightly below the average. But starting Monday, temperatures will rise above 6°C, with an upward trend through the week. Night-time temperatures will remain negative into midweek, and then will be around 0°C, also with an upward trend.
