A temporary bus route will ensure connection between Centru district and Telecentru quarter of Chisinau between June 14 and August 25 for the period of the works to rehabilitate sewer pipes on Bucuresti St, when the trolleybuses will not reach the Telecentru quarter.
The bus route “Centru – Telecentru” will have the following itinerary: Banulescu-Bodoni (“Stefan cel Mare” Public Garden), A. Mateevici, V. Alecsandri, Soseaua Hancesti, Miorita, Gh. Asachi, V. Alecsandri, A. Mateevici, M. Eminescu, Stefan cel Mare si Sfant, Banulescu-Bodoni streets.
Marcel Lupanchuk, vice director for exploitation of the Urban Bus Company, has told IPN that four buses will run on the given routes at an interval of 10 minutes, from 6:00am until 9:50pm. The bus fare will be 3 lei.
From June 14 until August 25, the section of Bucuresti St between the streets Banulescu-Bodoni and Pushkin will be closed to traffic. Trolleybus route No. 3 will be suspended. Trolleybus route No. 2 will have a different itinerary, while Trolleybus route No. 10 and 24 will be shortened to 31 august St.
