The weather has warmed up under the influence of warm air masses coming from the north of the African continent, which are crossing the territory of the Republic of Moldova. The temperatures are expected to reach highs of + 18 degrees Celsius.

Contacted by IPN for details, the head of the forecasts department at the State Weather Service Nadejda Stolear said that until February 12 the weather will remain warm both at night and during the day. Today, February 5, daytime temperatures will vary between +7 and +12 degrees Celsius.  At night they will socialite between +2 and +7 degrees Celsius.

In the immediate period, there will be +12 ...+17 or +13...+18 during the day and 0...+5 or 0...+7 at night.

Nadejda Stolear noted that such temperatures are not typical for February as the average temperature is by +10 degrees Celsius higher than the norm. Such highs were logged in Moldova earlier too. In February 1954, +23.3 degrees Celsius were recorded at the Balti weather station.
