Teenager on motor scooter hurt in road accident

A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized for brain injury treatment after being hurt in a traffic accident on Hristo Botev Street in Chisinau. A spokesperson for the General Police Commissariat said the accident occurred on Friday and involved two young men riding a motor scooter, which collided with a car. Also on Friday, a Chisinau driver struck an inebriated pedestrian, who was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. From the start of the year the traffic police recorded over 200 accidents across Moldova, which killed 30 persons and left other 300 injured.
