A girl aged 16 suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a car in a crosswalk on Decebal St in Chisinau’s Botanica district on January 26.
Petru Craveţ, of the National Emergency Medicine Center, has told IPN that the girl suffered a serious head injury, a concussion and contusions. Shed was admitted to the reanimatology section of the Municipal Children’s Hospital “Valentin Ignatenco”.
Contacted by IPN, the head of the Chisinau Police Division Adrian Jovmir said the driver who struck the girl didn’t stop to provide assistance and ran away. Measures are being taken to identify the car and the driver.
