Teenage girl struck by car in crosswalk

A 16-year-old girl was hit by a KIA car in a crosswalk on Florilor St in Chisinau on September 30.
Traffic Police Division press officer Antonina Talpa has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened not far from school. The girl, who studies at the Bulgarian Theoretical High School “V. Levski”, sustained a femur fracture. The case is being investigated.
The same day, a 34-year-old woman was struck by a minibus running on the Chisinau – Basarabeasca road on Grenoble St in Chisinau. According to the Traffic Police, the woman was jaywalking.
Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, managing doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service Anatol Proca said the patient was diagnosed with a shank fracture and injury to the femur.
