A boy aged 17 died in a motorcycle accident in the evening of June 4. He lost control of the motorcycle and crashed it into a roadside tree on the road going to Cotiujeni village of Briceni district.
Press officer of the Briceni Police Inspectorate Svetlana Talpă has told IPN that the teenager, who was from Larga, was riding a bike registered in Italy. At a certain moment, he lost control of the vehicle, left the road and ended up in a ditch, being projected into a tree. The motorcycle ricocheted back onto the roadway.
The boy was found in the ditch with multiple injuries. He died on the way to the hospital, when being transported by an ambulance. The teen wore a helmet, but this was damaged as a result of the impact.
