A 16-year-old boy will stand trial for committing a number of thefts. The accused used the stolen money to amuse himself. The case was sent to court for examination, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office. According to the Briceni Prosecutor’s Office, the minor last year stole US$300 and over 17 000 lei from two cars. He also broke into an office of the Briceni Court and stole a bag with 900 lei. After a period, he entered three offices of the district hospital from where he stole money and property worth about 5 000 lei from the bags of the personnel and patients and then stole money and property of over 7,000 lei from a restaurant. The teen’s parents divorced and his mother is abroad. The boy lived at his elder sister and his aunt. He spent the stolen money on entertainment.
