Teen killed in accident on Colonita road

Three people were injured and one 14-year-old boy died instantly on Sunday evening at around 9:00 PM when two cars crashed violently on the road to Chisinau's suburban village of Colonita, the Traffic Police Department reported. According to preliminary investigations, the driver responsible for the accident is a 32-year-old man driving a Mercedes. He is suspected of being under the influence at the time of the accident, a circumstance that is to be established by the investigation. All the injured were in a Moskvich car. The case is being handled by the homicide department of the Chisinau General Police Commissariat.
