Technical overhaul of minibuses transporting passengers in Chisinau launched

The first stage of the technical inspection of the minibuses that transport passengers along routes in the municipality of Chisinau will be carried out between April 7 and 15, 2009. The inspection includes the examination of the technical condition, the interior and exterior of the motor vehicles, including the equipment, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the PR Department of the Chisinau Coty Hall. The units of transport that will not meet the technical norms and legal requirements will be banned from working. Also, the licenses of the minibuses that will not be examined within the required term will be cancelled. The technical inspection will be carried out by the authorized stations of the Road Transport Agency. The results of the first stage will be announced by May 4, 2009.
