Teachers’ annual conference to take place on Aug. 19

The teachers from the municipality of Chisinau will come together for the annual conference on August 19. Adviser at the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Botnaru announced Monday that 13 specialized workshops centering on the problems faced in the municipality started work on August 15, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The preparations are underway. We plan to discuss many things during the forum – both accomplishments and the encountered problems,” said Tatiana Botnaru. The conference will take place at the Palace of the Republic, starting at 10 am. According to the set timetable, the vacant posts will start to be distributed among young specialists from August 15. The vacancies in schools will be filled, while in kindergartens – not all of them. Specialists are still being looked for. As to the preparation of the education institutions for the 2011-2012 school year, Tatiana Botnaru said the buildings are 92% ready, while the classrooms – 98% ready.
