A male teacher from Ungheni aged 44 was remanded in custody for 30 days on suspicion of perverse actions towards children. The Center for Combatting Trafficking in Persons of the National Investigations Inspectorate was informed that a teacher took perverse actions towards students during lessons, IPN reports.
The police said surveillance cameras were installed and the teacher had been monitored during classes in May-June. It was thus proven that this took perverse actions towards at least two boys aged eight, whom he touched indecently and also took other actions of a sexual character.
Also, the teacher had sex with other men, including an ex-teacher of the same school, in the classroom, outside working hours.
An investigation is conducted into this case in concert with the specialized division of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The teacher faces up to seven years in jail.
