Tax for re-concluding license and/or issuing a copy will not be higher than MDL 450

The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova approved on Friday, October 6, a maximum ceiling of MDL 450 for re-concluding the license and/ or issuing its copy. The present legislation stipulates that the tax for these services constitutes 10% of the license tax. According to Sergiu Sainciuc, deputy minister of Economy and Commerce, when obtaining license for some types of activities, economic agents must pay a considerable sum, which results from the special tax, rather expensive, for issuing the license. Sainciuc mentioned that the sum of MDL 450 covers the necessary expenses for issuing the aforementioned license. At present, the lowest tax for license in Moldova is about MDL 100, and the highest – about MDL 106.4 mln.
