Tatiana Şevciuc will be proposed to Parliament to be appointed president of the Court of Accounts.
Şevciuc won the nomination in a selection process conducted by Parliament’s Public Finance Oversight Commission. She competed against two other candidates.
Holding a PhD in economics, Şevciuc has been a member of the Court of Accounts since 2022.
The president of the Court of Accounts is appointed by Parliament for a term of 5 years. The previous president was Marian Lupu, formerly a Democratic lawmaker.
