Ambassador Tatiana Molcean presented her credentials for accreditation as Moldova’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Principality of Lichtenstein with residence in Geneva to Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the ceremony was preceded by discussions with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education and Sport Dominique Hasler, where there were empathized the good relations of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Liechtenstein, both at bilateral and multilateral levels. The Moldovan official expressed the country’s interest in strengthening and diversifying these relations, primarily the commercial-economic and socio-humanitarian ones. Tatiana Molchan expressed her gratitude for the assistance for development provided to education and social institutions in the Republic of Moldova.
For his part, Dominique Hasler confirmed that the Republic of Moldova will continue to be a priority country in the provision of assistance and expressed interest in extending projects that refer to vocational education and the involvement of young people in debates on the international dimension. The dialogue could be continued during a visit to Moldova and on the sidelines of multilateral meetings.
There was reiterated the interest in ending the negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the EFTA Member States that include Liechtenstein as soon as possible.
