Talks on future governing alliance postponed for at least another day

The meeting of the leaders of the PLDM, PL and PDM might take place today, December 2. The president of the PLDM Vlad Filat said that he did not meet with his colleagues yesterday but when he will do it everything will be transparent and the press will know where it will happen. The Premier did not want to comment on the press reports that he had a meeting with a representative of the PCRM. The president of honor of the PDM Dumitru Diacov said the Democrats received an invitation to meet with the other two leaders, but did not say who sent it. He also said the rumor has it that Vladimir Voronin and Vlad Plahotniuc had a meeting, but he does not know about it. For his part, the leader of the PL Mihai Ghimpu said he received no invitation. During the reception held at the Romanian Embassy on Romania’s National Day on December 1 in the evening, Dumitru Diacov discussed in private with Prime Minister Vlad Filat and then with Acting President Mihai Ghimpu. Filat and Ghimpu were not seen talking.
