Talented children say No to Corruption!

The 2008-2009 edition of the Peace Culture Caravan, annually organized by the World Organization of Talented Children (WPTC), has been launched with a new project titled “Talented children say No to Corruption!”, Info-Prim Neo learns from a release issued by the WPTC. The project is an anti-corruption drive of volunteers from the WPTC network, unfolding from September 15, 2008, to January 15, 2009, and will cover localities in the districts of Drochia, Hancesti, Straseni, and in Chisinau municipality. The project is said to be joined by many local and national NGOs, local authorities, education and culture entities, etc., willing to enhance the promotion of transparency and civic responsibility in countering corruption. The project will be also promoted through 20 blogs of the NGOs, by the newspaper “Copiii Europei” and the magazine “Micul Print”, as well as by the special blog of the project “The Free and Independent Microphone says No to Corruption!” The WPTC network gets together over 40 NGOs from Moldova and abroad. The organization has a status of participant in the Council of Europe. It launched the Peace Culture Caravan in 1993 in Moldova and in 1995 at the international level.
