A new water system has been inaugurated today in Miresti village, Hancesti district, as part of the Water and Sanitation Program with the financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), as well as with local contributions from the mayor's office and the people of Miresti, Info-Prim Neo reports.

The self-financing of the water supply system is ensured by an efficient billing system (individual water meter for each connection) and a water price that is affordable for the population, SDC says in a press release.
In the last five years, about 32,000 people in the districs of Nisporeni, Hancesti, Straseni have benefited from the support of SDC’s programs.
