Suspicious package puts police on alert

The police this morning have been alerted by a Chisinau resident who discovered a suspicious package in front of his house. General Police Commissariat spokesman Adrian Jovmir has told Info-Prim Neo that the man lives on Galbena St, not far from the intersection of the streets A. Mateevici and M. Eminescu. A bomb squad traveled to the scene immediately. They found no explosive substance or device. There was only paper in the package. There have been two bomb threats so far this year – at the Botanica district court and at the Trade Unions House. They turned out to be false.
