Supplier of trolleybuses for Chisinau to become known in two days

The name of the winner of the tender contest for buying trolleybuses for the capital city will be made known on November 3 at 3pm. In Monday’s meeting of the City Hall, the head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci reiterated that there will be purchased 102 new trolleybuses, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca explained that the name of the supplier will be made public only after the signing of the contract as this is a conditions imposed by one of the lenders. The cost of the project is €13.7 million, including €0.7 million technical assistance. €5 million represents a loan from the EBRD, another €5 million – a loan from the EIB, while €3million was provided by the European Union as a grant .
