The head of the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” Ludmila Vasilache announced her resignation in the July 10 meeting of the Board. She explained that she cannot and does not want to represent persons who cannot assume the consequences of their own decisions, IPN reports.
Ludmila Vasilache said that when she accepted the post of Supervisory Board head, she believed that all the Board members realize that the situation at the company is very serious and the set objectives can be achieved only by working together. “Regretfully, during these few months, I realized that we are not a team. I cannot and do not want to represent persons who cannot assume the consequences of their own decisions and polish their image by using other people. I also do not want to represent the indifferent persons and those who assume no responsibility at all. I can cope with direct blows, not yet with those coming from behind. I thus decided to resign,” she stated.
Ludmila Vasilache noted that from now on she will bear responsibility for and will argue only her own vote and her own solutions and proposals. “It was hard for me to do this, but I made up my mind,” she said.
After the members of the Supervisory Board took cognizance of Ludmila Vasilache’s resignation, member Doina Deleu was chosen to replace her as Board head.
Ludmila Vasilache was elected as head of the Supervisory Board of “Teleradio-Moldova” on March 14.
