“Sun Communications” expands to Baltsi

The biggest TV cable operator in Moldova „Sun Communications” enlarges its activity to Baltsi municipality. The Coordinating Council of Audio-Visual (CCA) approved on Tuesday, 23 May, the license for „Sun Communications” Company in Baltsi. The head of the company’s legal department, Octavian Ursu, said that starting the activity in Baltsi is planned for September 2006. A branch of „Sun Communications” will be open in Baltsi, he noted. Ursu mentioned that, for the moment, the prices for provided services are not known yet, but it is supposed that they will be cheaper than in Chisinau. According to him, the company will apply as well for a license in Cahul municipality. IM „Sun Communications” works in Moldova since 1993 and has about 120,000 subscribers in Chisinau municipality.
