An employee of the National Theoretical High School “Aristotel” of Chisinau and 65 students of the 10th-12th grades got poisoned with food. The adult and 20 of the students were admitted to the hospital. According to the Ministry of Health, the condition of the children and the employee of the high school is satisfactory, while that of the student in intensive care is serious, but stable, IPN reports.
Fourteen students and the employee high school were admitted to “Toma Ciorbă” Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital and another six students were taken to the Municipal Clinical Children’s Hospital for Contagious Diseases. One of the students is in intensive care.
According to the results of the epidemiological investigation, the first signs of poisoning appeared on September 17, starting at 03:00 p.m. Some of the students went home, accompanied by their parents.
The National Theoretical High School “Aristotel” is attended by 362 students from different localities and 132 of them live in the dormitory.
“The case is in the focus of the Ministry of Health. The initiated epidemiological investigation continues,” reads a press release.
