Twelfth graders of 11 high schools based in Chisinau and Balti obtained the electronic signature free of charge in the first week after the launch of the initiative proposed by the Ministry of Education and Research. The event was organized in the institutions where the young people study. In order to activate the free mobile signature, students only needed to present their identity card, IPN reports.

The Ministry noted that, during February – May, representatives of mobile network operators will go to schools and colleges according to an agreed schedule. The list of institutions and the schedule of visits are available online.

In total, young people from over 300 general education institutions and about 50 colleges and centers of excellence will be helped to activate the electronic signature for free.

In order to access the eAdmission information system this year, applicants to universities will be able to authenticate themselves through the MPass government service, through the electronic signature or the EVOSign government application, which will open their access to the platform.
