The number of students having questioned the results of their baccalaureate exams is much bigger than in recent years, stated the head of the Chisinau Education Division, Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb, at today's staff sitting of the city hall.
“Although having smaller grades during the studying year, now they want more and question even exams for which they got 8 or 9,” she is quoted by Info-Prim Neo as saying. Moldovan students are given marks from 1 to 10.
“The no-pass marks (below 5) are also questioned. That is why we don't have the exact number of the ones having failed the exams,” the official said specifying more exact data would be announced later .
On July 1, the additional baccalaureate session started. It is organized by the graduates, who, because of being sick or because of other reasons, did not manage to attend the ordinary session. 42 high school students and 18 graduates of general schools will take their exams, as 32 of them come from Chisinau.
The last general exam will be held on July 10. On July 13, the students from non-Romanian lycees will take their native language exam.
