This weekend will be shorter for students across the country, as they must make up a day from the spring break today. Although Saturdays are usually days off for schools, lessons are being held according to the regular schedule.
This make-up day was set by the Ministry of Education and Research after the fall and spring breaks in the 2024-2025 academic year were extended to nine days. To compensate for the extra time off, students and teachers must recover two school days: the first was already made up in November, and now they are making up for the missed classes from March 3, IPN reports.
The next vacation will be for Easter, from April 19 to April 28.
Throughout the school year, students have several breaks, including fall, winter, spring, and Easter vacations.
