Students enter the winter vacation on Wednesday, December 25. The second semester of the academic year will begin on January 9, IPN reports.
Deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports of the Chisinau City Hall Andrei Pavaloi said that the vacation will last for 15 days. During this period, those interested will be able to attend an extracurricular program of activities, including at the 13 creative centers in the city.
In the municipality of Chisinau, the network of general education institutions includes 150 public and private primary and secondary education institutions. Kindergartens will remain open and will not work only on the bank holidays, namely December 25, January 1, 7 and 8.
