A student failed an exam and decided to comit suicide, but called an ambulance when she felt sick after taking a large number of pills. The 25-year-old woman was admitted to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox. A small child is expecting her at home, coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service Maria Samatailo has told Info-Prim Neo. A man aged 27 cut his veins open. He was rushed to the Emergency Hospital in hemorrhagic shock. Two men from Chisinau, aged 47 and 56, died suddenly. The ambulance doctors presume the men suffered from cardiovascular diseases. On June 7, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 798 calls, dealing with 68 cases of acute viral infection, 14 cases of pneumonia, six strokes and two heart attacks.
