Student rushed to hospital with general hypothermia

A student fell asleep on a street in Chisinau and suffered general hypothermia. Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Emergency Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the student of the Polytechnic University was found by the police on Parcului St on Thursday afternoon. The young man was under the influence of alcohol and fell asleep on the street. An ambulance took him to the Emergency Hospital. Later in the evening, a man aged 25 was found on the street in alcoholic coma and rushed to the hospital. A 60-year-old surgeon on duty at the Mother and Child Center suffered a myocardial infarction and was admitted to the Cardiology Institute. A nine-year-old girl was struck by a Mercedes minibus running on route No. 124 at the intersection of Mihail Kogalniceanu and Sfatul Tarii streets on Friday morning. She suffered concussion and contusion of the thorax. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Emergency Service recorded 832 calls, dealing with 87 cases of acute viral infections, 29 suspect cases of pandemic flu, 64 cases of trauma, ten strokes and two myocardial infarctions.
