Student dormitory at school in Cimislia renovated with U.S. support

The United States completed a $12,000 renovation of the student dormitory at the "Mihai Eminescu" Theoretical Lyceum in Cimislia. Windows and doors were replaced, the electrical system was repaired and upgraded, and a study room was replastered and repainted, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a press release from the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau. U.S. Ambassador to Moldova William Moser and Mrs. Moser visited the city. Along with their three children, they distributed Christmas gifts to children studying and residing at this school. Approximately 54 children reside in the dormitory at the "Mihai Eminescu" Theoretical Lyceum. This school serves children from Cimislia and Cimislia district. Renovation of this school was coordinated by Counterpart International with additional donations from LDS Charities.
