Prime Minister Valeriu Strelets will make a visit to Brussels in September on the invitation of Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
During a phone conversation, the two officials took stock of Moldova's progress in implementing its European integration agenda as well as in advancing the reforms required by the Association Agreement with the EU.
The Moldovan Government said in a press release that Federica Mogherini assured Valeriu Strelets of the European Union's full support in implementing reforms, modernizing the country and advancing the European agenda.
For his part, Strelets expressed his openness to have an efficient dialogue with the European partners. He also enumerated the priorities of the Moldovan Government: achieve macro-financial stability, reform the justice sector, combat corruption, improve social protection, and ensure energy security.
