Stefan cel Mare Blvd will be inaccessible to traffic on July 2 in connection with a number of events in support of the European integration process that will be staged in the area. Also, high-ranking officials will lay flowers at the monument to Ruler Stephan the Great and Holy in the morning and will then go to the Parliament Building, IPN reports.

According to the National Patrolling Inspectorate, the section of Stefan cel Mare Blvd between the streets Mihai Viteazu and Mitropolit Banulescu-Bodoni will be closed for traffic at 7am. The vehicles will be diverted to the adjoining streets.

A number of parking lots for private units of transport will be improvised on the streets A. Mateevici, near the State University of Moldova, M. Viteazu, M. Dosoftei and Grigore Vieru, near Tourist Hotel.

The National Patrolling Inspectorate calls on the people to comply with the instructions of patrolling inspectors and urges drivers to bypass central Chisinau and to park the units of transport only in authorized places.
