Polling stations in the country closed their doors. By 09:00 p.m., when the voting process ended, slightly over 54 percent of the voters put on electoral rolls cast their ballots, IPN reports.
Voting continues abroad. In Canada, at the polling stations in Calgary and Vancouver, voting will end at 07:00 a.m. Chisinau time.
