Wrestler Stepan Dimitrov won bronze at the European Taekwondo Championships that are taking place in Russia’s Kazan, IPN reports.
In the 58 kg weight class, he beat his opponents from Serbia and Belarus and then lost to a Spanish wrestler in the final. Stepan Dimitrov climbed on to the winner’s rostrum at the European Championships for the second time. In 2014, he won a gold medal.
Sergey Uscov also competed in the 58 kg class. The athlete from Tiraspol ranked fifth. In the 54 kg class, Vadim Dimitrov finished ninth.
