Stela Stangaci to become new ambassador to Italy

The Government approved a draft presidential decree on the appointment of Stela Stangaci as Moldova’s Ambassador to Italy, IPN reports.

Stela Stangaci has diplomatic education. She studied in Bucharest and worked as a secretary and adviser at the Embassy of Moldova in Italy. Adviser to the Head of Parliament is the last job held by her.

By other decisions, Ambassadors Igor Munteanu and Mihai Gribincea were discharged from the posts of ambassadors to Canada and, respectively, the Netherlands that they held simultaneously. Ala Beleavski and Emilian Brenici were named to the last two positions.

The Government also confirmed Gheorghe Postica as Deputy Minister of Culture. Another post of Deputy Minister of Culture will be occupied by Igor Sarov, who worked as dean of the Faculty of History and Philosophy of the State University of Moldova.
