The State Tax Service will have a special working program during the next two weeks in connection with the receipt of tax returns from private individuals. The fiscal service divisions all over the country will work on Saturdays and Sundays as well, while the program on workdays will be by two hours longer, IPN reports.
This weekend, on April 20 and 21, all the offices of the State Tax Service will work from 9am until 3pm. The working program next week, from Monday through Friday, will be from 8am until 7pm.
On April 27, which falls on a Saturday, the offices will work from 9am until 3pm, while on April 30, which is the Tuesday after Easter, they will work from 8am until 5pm. On May 1, tax returns can be submitted from 9am until 3pm, while the next day from 8am until 7pm.
According to the State Tax Service’s press officer Olga Baciu, changes in the working program are made annually so as to serve all the taxpayers who file tax returns. During the last few years, the number of taxpayers who submit tax returns on the last 100 meters has yet decreased.
The deadline for submissions this year is May 2.
