In the course of 2017, the State Tax Service collected 32.7 billion lei in revenues, an increase of 5.2 billion lei on 2016. The amounts collected in 2017 were by 2.6 billion lei higher than projected, IPN has learned from the Service.
A sum of 14.3 billion lei was collected into the state budget. This is by 2.8 billion lei more than in 2016 (+23.9%). The revenues accumulated in the local budgets came to 3.4 billion lei, up 0.2 billion lei compared with 2016 (+4.8%).
About 11.4 billion lei was collected last year into the state social insurance budget, up 1.8 billion lei on a year before (+18.4%). The revenues accumulated in the mandatory health insurance funds totaled nearly 3.5 billion lei, up 0.4 billion lei (+12.3%).
