State social insurance budget plan for nine months overfulfilled

The state social insurance budget over January-September 2007 was overfulfilled by 5.7%. The budget incomes were projected to reach about 3.4 bln in the given period. The revenues collected by October 1, 2007 exceed last year’s figures by 545.7 mln lei. The social insurance contributions over the fist nine months of this year came to 3.1 bln lei. This is a plan fulfilment of 108.2% and an increase of 470.6 mln lei compared with the corresponding period of 2006. The transfers from the state budget added up to 565.8 mln lei, in accordance with the plans and the financing requests. The other incomes totalled 24.5 mln lei or by 57.4% more than projected. The expenditure of the state social insurance budget amounted to 3.8 bln lei. This is by 0.5% more than projected and by 493.6 mln lei more than in the corresponding period last year.
