State social insurance budget expenditure exceeded revenues in January

The social insurance contributions accumulated to the state social insurance budget this January totalled 334.6 million lei, by 68.3 million lei more compared with the corresponding period last year and by 2.4% more than projected. A sum of 64.4 million lei was transferred to the state social insurance budget from the state budget. This is by 2.6 million lei more than last January. There were collected interest and other incomes of 2.7 million lei. The aggregate revenues came to 401.8 million lei or by 72.2 million lei more than in January 2007. The spending from the state social insurance budget was 444.7 million lei or by 83.4 million lei higher than last January. The plan was 91.5% fulfilled. The state social insurance budget expenditure in January exceeded the revenues by 42.9 million lei. The available funds of the National Social Insurance House totalled 511.8 million lei.
