Andrei Cuculescu won the contest to fill the post of head of the State Road Administration. The contest had to two stages – examination of CVs and interviews.
Head of the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure Maria Chitoroaga has told IPN that Deputy Minister Vitalie Rapcea will make a decision to confirm Cuculescu to the post within five days.
Andrei Cuculescu was earlier deputy minister of transport and division head at the Ministry of Transport.
Until recently, the post of head of the State Road Administration was held on an interim basis by Veaceslav Teleman. The ex-head Gheorghe Curmei was dismissed last March by the minister of transport for violations committed while holding office.
