The Cabinet approved the institution of the State Register of Forensic Experts and the State Register of Individual and Associated Legal Examination Offices and the regulations that define the structure and method of keeping, filling out, updating, keeping and restoring the given registers, IPN reports.
The goal of the bill is to improve the mechanism of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies and forensic experts and to facilitate the people’s access to legal examination services.
The registers will include information about forensic experts who work in public forensic services institutions or legal examination offices and about individual and associated legal examination offices. The regulations will be applied until all the conditions for electronic monitoring are created through the State Register of Legal Units.
