The administrators of a state-run company are suspected of committing economic frauds. They introduced false data of persons in the lists of employees and payrolls and appropriated the money, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Chisinau Police Division.
Upon a search at the offices of the suspects, the police found accounting records and electronic documents proving the suspects’ guilt. The damage caused to the state budget hasn’t been yet assessed, but is estimated at several hundred thousand lei.
If the court finds them guilty, the suspects will serve two to six years in jail.
