The State Main Tax Inspectorate made known the names of the winners of the second edition of the contest aimed at encouraging taxpayers. The envelopes with sales slips were extracted on February 3. The first prize worth 25,000 lei was offered to Rodica Gori from Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. The winner is 31. She is jurist by occupation, but now does not work as she looks after the first kid. “More envelopes, more chances to win,” the winner said. Two prizes worth 15,000 lei each went to Nadejda Blajan and Inga Vrabie from Chisinau. Maria Dontan (Chisinau), Ana Popov (Chisinau), Ecaterina Chisa (Comrat), Valeriu Berlinschi (Chisinau) and Ion Zagorodniuc (Orhei) received by 5,000 lei. There were also offered 10 prizes of 1,000 lei each and 20 prizes of 500 lei each. The winner of the top prize, Rodica Gori, also won a prize of 1,000 lei. Victor Coada, the head of the State Main Tax Inspectorate, said that 8,186 envelopes participated in the second edition of the contest. This is threefold more compared with the first edition held in autumn last year. The next edition will take place late in April. The contest is open to the taxpayers that have the place of residence or legal address in Moldova and accumulated at least 50 sales slips worth minimum 1,000 lei for the goods purchased or services provided, starting with August 15, 2008. The envelopes with sales slips and applications for participation in the contest should be mailed to the State Main Tax Inspectorate through Moldova’s Post Office by April 5 inclusive.
