State enterprises to pay quota of the income to state budget and founder

State Enterprises (SE) which will finish the financial year with profit will pay some quotes of the income to founder and public budget. The Parliament approved in second reading the amendments on the Law on SE. According to the Minister of Economy and Commerce, some State Enterprises have profits, but comparing with the Joint Stock Companies, do not pay in the budget dividends on the quota belonging to the state, excepting taxes stipulated by the legislation. The aforementioned amendments also stipulate that the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Ministry of Finance and of the founder shall be included in the Administration Council of each enterprise. One person has the right to be included in 5 administration councils. Until now the presence of one representative of the specialized ministry in the administration council was compulsory. According to the authors the amendments comply with the recommendations of the International Monetary Fund Mission. 379 SE and several hundreds of subsidiaries are registered in Moldova.
