For the first time on record, state coal reserves are 100% full, the Agency for Material Reserves reported.

Coal reserves have been built up as a measure to help the population overcome the current energy crisis, the Ministry of the Interior said in a press release.

The reserves will be used to promptly intervene in emergency situations, as well as to provide support to the population and improve stability in various sectors of national economy, the press release added.

The MoI’s Agency for Material Reserves will distribute coal as needed, following orders from the Emergencies Commission or the prime minister.
